The location of the cottage was fantastic, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to nearby attractions. The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. One of the best aspects was the cozy and charming aesthetic of the cottage, which added to the overall experience.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the door to the bedroom didn't close properly, which was a bit inconvenient for privacy.

The location of the cottage was perfect, right off the main road and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. We were able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. We particularly appreciated the hot shower and well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to prepare our own meals.
the cottage was quite cramped, especially with our group of four and all our luggage. It would have been more comfortable with a bit more space.

The location of the cottage was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a sky filled with stars at night. the cottage itself was clean and made of wood, giving it a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Checking in was easy and hassle-free, and the nearby restaurant was a nice convenience.
There were some issues with communication and finding the cottage, as the signs and instructions were inadequate.

We stayed at North Star Cottages for one night, a family of four. The location was perfect for our photo shoots at Skogafoss, only ten minutes away. The cozy and rustic cottage had all the amenities we needed. The clean and comfy beds, along with the stunning views, made our stay memorable. It was convenient to have a bistro and mini mart nearby, and the parking right in front of the cottage was a plus. North Star Cottages offered great value for money in a remote and natural setting.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a bit of a challenge with the check-in process, but once we finally got in touch with the host, they were helpful and we were able to get settled into our cozy little cottage. The location of North Star Cottage was amazing, right at the base of a volcano with fine views. The facilities were basic, but everything we needed was provided. Despite a few minor maintenance issues, we still found the cottage to besuper clean and cozy. we had a good stay and would definitely recommend North Star Cottage for anyone looking for a unique and picturesque experience in Iceland.

Located at the base of majestic mountains, this cottage offers a prime location for exploring the stunning waterfalls and sights in the area. the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep after a day of adventure. having access to a hot pot allowed us to relax and unwind in the soothing geothermal heated water.
Check-in was a bit challenging as there was no on-site staff and contacting them proved difficult. the lack of customer service was a disappointment considering the price paid for the accommodation.

We stayed at a cozy cabin located on the famous ring road in a beautiful area with stunning views. The cabin was small but cozy, with warm interiors and comfortable beds. The location was perfect, situated between two magnificent waterfalls and just a short drive to a hidden hot spring pool. The facilities were great, with easy access to a small kitchen and a key box for convenient check-in.
The cleanliness of the cabin could have been improved, with old and dirty dish sponges and limited dish soap provided.

Great Location! The cottage was perfectly situated for exploring the stunning South Coast. The key location allowed easy access to restaurants and other amenities. One of the best aspects was the warm and cozy cabin in the midst of the mountains, providing a peaceful and scenic retreat. The view from the cottage was absolutely breathtaking, making it a perfect spot for jogging in the morning.
The maintenance issues. The cabin had leaky walls and windows, leading to wet personal items and the need to rearrange furniture.
